I've been ordering lots of nail polishes and nail art things recently, including my very first OPI nail polishes!
Here's what I'm waiting on at the moment from Asos: OPI Dutch Treats Mini Collection, €17.90,

Models Own Mini Glitter Collection, €7.60, including Emerald City, Scarlett Sparkle and Bluebell. |
Barry M Aqua Glitter, €4.13

After ordering those I wandered off to eBay. Now I've never actually bought anything from there before as I always thought it seemed so confusing and complicated. This time I decided to give it a try to and set up a PayPal account and the rest is history. I have so many things on my wish list now! Here's what I ended up getting though:
OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It from the Minnie Mouse Collection. I can't wait to try this out!
I also got some nail art stuff as well, like French manicure stickers, nail wheels and nail foils. Hopefully it'll all arrive soon!

Welcome to my new blog!
To get things started, here's a colourful manicure I did with Mavala's Pistachio and Fresh Melon and e.l.f.'s Gum Pink. The Mavala polishes are from their Spring 2012 collection, Delicious Colours.
Now this was a very frustrating, time consuming manicure that I probably won't be trying again with these polishes. The Mavala polishes vere okay, they usually dry pretty quickly but they tend to bubble a bit if you do thicker coats. But that was fine, I didn't mind that. That e.l.f. polish on the other hand... It took about two or three hours to completely dry, and as you can see, I have a couple of dents on my nails that I got when I took the picture. And I waited an hour after painting my nails! I've found that most e.l.f. polishes are like that, which is a shame, because they're very cheap and there are some lovely colours.
I put on a matte top coat later that day and I liked how it looked but I was so annoyed about the drying time that I didn't even attempt to take another picture! Next time I'll definitely go for something a bit quicker.
